On October 15, we hosted the first edition of WP Agency Forum at Talent Garden Madrid, a new business event co-organized with SiteGround Spain for digital agencies and professionals working with WordPress.

We talked about the challenges of growing and scaling a digital business. About how artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work and think, and how to integrate it into our processes with purpose.

We explored real experiences and opportunities in an industry that’s evolving faster than ever. But above all, we enjoyed an amazing atmosphere filled with ideas, conversations, and networking between sessions.

150 agency leaders and teams joined us in Madrid, with more than 450 tuning in online. The day featured seven talks, success stories, mastermind sessions, and plenty of inspiration.

Here are our highlights.

WP Agency Forum: Strategy, inspiration, and networking for WordPress agencies

From the start, our goal with WP Agency Forum was clear: to create a dynamic, business-focused event that inspired action. A space where attendees could connect, learn, and leave with practical insights and tools already helping other professionals grow.

After months of preparation, it all came together in nearly four hours of high-value content featuring 11 leading experts from WordPress and some of Spain’s most recognized agencies.

From AI and business strategy to the future of WordPress

Speakers explored topics around growth, automation, AI integration, branding, and the challenges of scaling teams and processes:

  • Javi Consuegra (Sales Hackers) shared insights on how structured and well-documented sales systems can transform agency growth.
  • Carmen Boronat and Raquel Lorenzo (Cloud District) explored how SEO is evolving in the age of large language models (LLMs), where creating structured, AI-friendly content starts by keeping the user at the center.
  • Ricardo Tayar (Flat 101) talked about what it means to grow a 300-person agency: the wins, the mistakes, and the hard-earned lessons, reminding us that success should serve quality of life, not just numbers.
  • Rosa Morel introduced the idea of a new copywriting that blends AI with empathy and creativity, helping brands sound more human and stand out in a competitive market.
  • In a lively panel moderated by Miguel Sanz (Bisiesto Estudio & Escalando Agencias), Marta Factor (Soluble Studio), Bego Romero, and Jorge García (Marketing Paradise) discussed brand strategy as a key to differentiation and long-term success.
  • Gregor Müller (GoStudent & CSGPT) showed a real example of AI voice agents in GoStudent’s sales process, proving that automation can drive both innovation and revenue when applied thoughtfully and aligned with clear business goals.
  • Finally, Fernando Tellado (Ayuda WordPress) led a conversation about the present and future of WordPress. Because even after 20 years, the open-source software powering over 40% of the websites worldwide remains as relevant as ever.

Each session left us with practical lessons, reflections, and the shared belief that technology and strategy only make sense when they serve people and purpose.

Mastermind groups

One of the key moments of the day was the mastermind sessions: small discussion groups where each participant shared a challenge from their project or agency and received feedback from peers.

The goal wasn’t just about networking, but about exchanging ideas and learning from each other, since it’s rare for agency owners and teams to find a space where they can talk openly with others facing the same challenges.

It was all about openness and generosity in sharing real experiences. The feedback has been so positive that we’re already thinking about repeating the format in future editions.

What agencies say about Modular DS and SiteGround

Another special moment of WP Agency Forum came with a short panel featuring two agencies that already use Modular DS and SiteGround in their daily work, Nokeon and Balinot Tech Consulting.

They joined us to share how building on a solid, reliable stack has helped them streamline workflows, improve service quality, and focus their time on delivering better results for their clients.

For us, it was especially rewarding to hear how Modular DS has become part of their growth story. Because that’s exactly the kind of impact and long-term value we aim to help more WordPress agencies and professionals achieve.

Thanks for making it possible

There aren’t many events in the Spanish WordPress community that bring agencies and professionals together to talk about the business side of growth, and that’s precisely why we created WP Agency Forum.

We knew it would be special, but the response exceeded all expectations.

The energy, the conversations, and the feedback we’ve received so far have left us with a deep sense of gratitude and motivation to keep building future initiatives. So we can only say: Thank you!

This first edition wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our sponsors, Weglot and Patchstack.

A huge thank you as well to all our speakers, attendees, and to the SiteGround Spain team for joining forces to make WP Agency Forum happen.

Here’s a short recap video (in Spanish) capturing some of the best moments from WP Agency Forum 2025. Enjoy it!

See you all at the 2026 edition! 💜
